Position Overview:
The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Unicon's sales strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships. You will leverage your extensive experience to drive revenue growth, develop a high-performing sales team, and secure strategic partnerships that position Unicon as a leader in the project management software industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries and accounts.
• Identify growth opportunities and execute strategic initiatives to secure high-value contracts.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with market needs and product offerings.
• Monitor market trends, competitors’ activities, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies.
• Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
• Provide ongoing training, support, and motivation to the sales team to ensure success.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity for executive management.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the IT or technology related industry.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of global markets, particularly in IT/software or technology-driven industries.
• Expertise and proven success in crafting and implementing effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, sales performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and achieve consistent, outstanding results.
