Position Overview:
Retail & Wholesale Operations Manager (“Operations Manager”) - We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our growing team at CELS. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing sales strategies, identifying and managing various projects, managing inventory and providing high level of customer service and support. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental work while working alongside a dedicated and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail & Wholesale Sales
•Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors, builders, architects, and retailers.
•Provide training and guidance to the sales team on product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
•Manage pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers to ensure profitability.
•Track and analyze sales performance, ensuring sales targets are consistently met.
External Project Sales (B2B & B2C)
•Identify and pursue opportunities in construction projects, commercial buildings, government tenders, and industrial projects.
•Build relationships with developers, project managers, MEP consultants, and procurement officers to secure bulk orders.
•Prepare proposals, bids, and quotations for large-scale projects.
•Collaborate with contractors and designers to recommend suitable lighting solutions.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
•Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability and timely procurement.
•Work closely with suppliers to ensure products are delivered on time and according to quality standards.
•Optimize inventory turnover to minimize holding costs.
•Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical products to prevent damage.
Customer Service & Support
•Provide excellent customer service by promptly resolving issues and addressing customer needs.
•Collaborate with the technical team to offer product support and after-sales services.
•Manage key accounts for large customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Logistics & Delivery
•Ensure efficient processing of orders and timely delivery to customers.
•Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth distribution and customer satisfaction.
Business Growth & Market Development
•Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and growth opportunities.
•Develop promotional campaigns and offers tailored to different customer segments.
•Establish strategic partnerships with manufacturers for exclusive product offerings.
•Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to expand business networks and promote the brand.
To qualify for this position, we are looking for the following:
•Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and customer service.
•Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
•Experience in managing inventory
•Ability to handle projects and deliver high-level customer service.
•A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting sales targets and business growth.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
•Someone with a strong educational background (minimum bachelor’s degree).
Compensatory Package: This position offers $41.25/hour based on a 40-hour work week. We also provide 10 days of paid annual vacation and 3 personal days.
