NPN construction company based in Halifax, NS. We service all construction needs - as simple as small kitchen remodeling or painting a room to complete renovation projects. As local remodeling constructors, we accommodate any size job, from small private apartments to new development projects and commercial spaces. We work with many contractors, interior designers, architects, and homeowners to fulfill their construction needs.
We are looking for a full-time interior decorator with exceptional skills and experience in space decorating and designing who can bring creative design proposals and satisfy customers with our renovation services.
Job duties:
1. Communicate with the client, analyze and discuss their preferred decorating style, space planning, and other related design requests.
2. Combining the client's demands and the actual site conditions, advise on colour coordination, furniture and lighting options, etc.
3. Make detailed design drawings using CAD software, including general specifications and structural layouts.
4. Form the final plan in compliance with relevant safety and health indicators and estimate the total cost.
5. Prepare materials related to the design plan and develop a specific work plan during the project period.
6. Discuss the plan's implementation with related workers and coordinate work arrangements.
7. Oversee the process of the decoration project and ensure that each step goes accurately.
8. Regularly keep the client up to date with decoration conditions until the end of the renovation process.
9. Inspect the finalized decoration result and deliver the result to the client.
Requirements:
1. A minimum college diploma in interior decoration, interior design, environmental art design, space planning, or a related field is required.
2. At least three years of experience in interior decorating, designing, space planning, or a related field is required.
3. Have good aesthetic ability and sensitivity to color matching.
4. Excellent communication skills and relationship management ability.
5. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
6. Teamwork & Decision-Making & Problem-Solving Skills.
7. Work experience in large-scale design projects is a plus.
