Little Koala Montessori Academy offers full-day childcare programs for children age 12 months to 6 years old with the Montessori Education Philosophy. Additionally, our early childhood curriculum and preschool child care consultation services are not only facing the students, but also available for other early child care businesses. Little Koala Montessori Academy has been proudly serving local communities since 2008 and now provides high quality childcare program in Richmond, Surrey and Abbotsford, and the newest addition of our Delta School and the second school in Richmond that is expected to open in early 2020.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the execution, development, organization and coordination of marketing efforts aim to promote our brand and service. This position will work closely with the Director to organize our company’s presence, develop marketing programs and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities. It is a key role to keep our marketing strategies and promotions effective and competitive.

Job Duties:
1. Develop and ensure consistent, reliable processes for marketing activities including writing posts, updating online content, collecting and responding feedbacks, organizing offline campaigns and more
2. Proactively organize company website and social media presence to maximize brand and service awareness, target more students and parents, and potential local & international businesses who are interesting in early child care program training
3. Formulate and supervise all design and usage for marketing and communication materials with final approval from the Director
4. Execute online and offline marketing programs to stimulate engagement for a variety of platforms and audiences on campus and in the local community
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing activities by designing and using evaluation forms, questionnaires and surveys
6. Complete marketing research including identifying, analyzing and summarizing market share, competitor pricing, advertising and more
7. Collaborate marketing related works with internal staff and external personnel to ensure effective marketing and communications initiatives

1. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in student advocacy in a student-driven environment
2. Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, education, business or relative field of study
3. Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience
4. Marketing experience to target and recruit students and parents audiences is an asset
5. Strong understanding of both online and offline marketing practices
6. Demonstrated knowledge of planning and execution of marketing related activities
7. Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
8. Willingness and capability to work on multiple accounts/projects
