Necessary skills:
- Large Project Management experience $5M plus.
- Experience with Warranty claims and Managing and overseeing Quality Control
- Strong understanding of Financial Job Costing
- Successful track record of Change Notice Negotiation
- Experience with Job Estimating
- Ability to read and comprehend structural and Electrical drawings/documents
- Commissioning Experience with AHJ (Regulators)
- A technical background and/or recognized designation (Electrical/Mechanical) in a related discipline and/or a combination of proven field experience in elevator Construction and New Installation.

Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate elevator construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of system components
• Supervise preparatory elevator construction work
• Supervise Installations of elevators and related equipment according to specifications
• Supervise the Connectivity of car frames to counterweights with cables and assemble elevator cars
• Supervise Installation of wire electric and electronic control system devices
• Supervise Installation, testing and adjustments of safety control devices
• Supervise the Testing of newly installed elevators
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure public safety
• Prepare and submit elevators construction project budget estimates
• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Represent company on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation
• Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
• Direct the purchase of building materials.
• Hire and supervise the activities of subordinate staff.
