 Description  : AMELECO is a well-established wholesale and retail company for construction electrical materials in Great Vancouver, BC, Canada. We focus on supplying a full range of high-quality electrical material, hardware, and tools that are used in House Building, Commercial Construction and Renovation projects.

We are now seeking for ONE capable Product Manager to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

Product Manager will perform the following duties, but not limited to:

• Lead market positioning for the products and services, using key competitor and customer data, as well as internal/external feedback for current and next generation models.
• Propose product marketing plans, including budgets, pricing and volume assumptions for respective models.
• Lead the development of parts product planning activities.
• Lead the execution of product marketing plans.
• Lead in crafting the strategy and go-to-market plan to help customers.
• Work with the sales team to develop a comprehensive price/promotion offering that meets customer expectations while maximizing sales and profitability.
• Give sales team training sessions for products, market positionings, sales strategies, to sales team’s effectiveness.
• Work with zone office, manufacturer, head office, to ensure appropriate product lifecycle plans.
• Ensure effective communication of all related product information/feedback to internal and external customers.
• Support the company at sales events, including sales meetings and trade shows.
• Be a key member in the planning, execution and evaluation of the activities of sales and service department.
• Collect feedback from sales and lead discussions with other departments, to solve their challenges and determining priorities.
• Recruit, organize, train and manage staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Employment requirements
• A university degree or college diploma is required.
• 5-7 years of product planning experience, including pricing, offer structure and lifecycle management of current and future products, or experience working in Sales or Marketing.
• Business savvy. Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
• Experience in E-commerce promotion is considered as asset.
• Experience in business case development, product development, and technical expertise.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; Other language skills considered as assets.
• Excellent analytical and data-mining skills coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Strong organization skills, able to multitask, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
