We distribute, install, and service alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intercom, fire alarm systems, and smart home systems for residential and corporate use. We are also the sole provider of i-Protect, an innovative Personal Safety device. Polyway Technology Ltd. is a member of the Canadian Security Association (CANASA).

JOB SUMMARY:

Polyway Technology is currently seeking an ambitious, experienced, entrepreneurial and high-performing Corporate Sales Manager – China to oversee the expansion of its product offerings, including smart energy and smart home related products to the China market. This person will develop Polyway Technology’s China sales strategy, work closely with technical and marketing teams and take charge of the formation, development and management of our China sales team. This is a full-time position offered at $95,680 per year, with 40 work hours per week and 2 weeks of paid vacation per year, and the position is to work out of our office located at 151 Nashdene Road, Units 60-61, Toronto ON M1V 4C.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Spearhead, drive and manage all China-related sales operations.
2. Establish the China sales strategy, budget, timelines, milestones, targets and goals; provide regular reports on sales performance and market expansion progress.
3. Evaluate Polyway Technology’s competitive advantages in the Chinese market and define sales goals for continued, successful market penetration in China.
4. Ensure Polyway Technology’s products are fully compatible and usable by Chinese customers and meet/exceed Chinese standards for greater product adaptability in the Chinese market.
5. Working with Polyway’s development team, offer guidance on software development needed for the Chinese market for compatibility with Chinese end-user operating systems.
6. Develop and implement best practices and policies for China-related sales efforts.
7. Analyze Polyway Technology’s product lines and development, and refine product offerings for the China region with a particular focus on our AI-driven, smart energy and smart home solution systems.
8. Stay up-to-date on China market trends and inform the company of new developments in relevant Chinese smart energy and smart home technology for potential synergistic collaborations and technology transfers.
9. Build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries and formulate strategic partnerships with Chinese firms as necessary.
10. Conduct contract negotiations on behalf of Polyway with clients and others.
11. Identify sales talent, and coach and train the sales team on the best methods of conducting business in China for effective sales communications.
12. Conduct training seminars regarding China markets and sales strategies
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, intermediaries and strategic partners
14. Work with the marketing team to ensure the effective promotion of a portfolio of new/existing products by providing input, writing and designing sales and marketing materials and presentations aimed at the Chinese market.
15. Offer guidance on software development needed for the Chinese market if necessary.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or higher
2. Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in the China market, focused on technology, AI, smart energy, smart home or smart building
3. Strong technical understanding of software, smart energy, smart home, smart building and security-related technologies and products
4. Demonstrated track record in achieving sales growth in the technology space in China
5. Strong business and sales relationships in China, proven distribution channels in the tech space
6. Strong communication skills in Mandarin, written and oral
7. Familiar with commonly used Chinese end-user device operating systems
8. Dynamic, strong leadership, passionate personality with confidence to perform to high standards
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), project management software (MS Project), and software prototyping tools
