The Organization of COVID-19 Assistance (OCA) was founded by a group of Canadian business people with the purpose of easing the global shortage of ventilators. Ocalink’s goal is to ease the global shortage of ventilators by having the ability of producing and distributing 1 million emergency ventilators.

Using a functional ventilator design with interchangeable and abundant components, Ocalink will quickly assemble and distribute 1 million ventilators. The Pantheon Emergency Ventilator™ by Ocalink has been built to specifications required by UK Health Authority, and both the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and Fraser Health Authority in B.C., Canada.

Ocalink is seeking a VP, Sales & Marketing to join our senior management team. This position will lead the targeted growth of our business by generating and closing major project opportunities and leading our revenue team. The candidate has the ability to source, manage and deepen client relationships with superior service delivery and effective communication throughout projects. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced client development professional with a marketing and sales background.

Job Duties: 
1.Participate and determine in executive-level strategic planning, company objective and policy setting, and coordinate activities for developing business and achieving the company’s sales and marketing goals across the world.
2.Lead the establishment of the sales and marketing department and oversee the department's operation management, policy formulation, also approve the selection of key staff.
3.Set and oversee the sales & marketing operational milestones, determine the performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the strategy implementation.
4.Develop product pricing and advertising programs, standardize customer service procedures; coordinate and control sales and marketing budget, lead the preparation and review of the sales bid and negotiation, ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
5.Identify and develop internal resources including human resources, financial assets and specialty relationships to deliver effective marketing and sales activities; manage and coach the staff to develop and run proactive promotional campaigns in line with the company’s strategic goal.
6.Be familiar with the company’s medical devices and the targeted region’s regulatory requirements to keep the staff apprised of change in industry policies and license terms, and ensure the sales and marketing practices meet such requirements and customer needs.
7.Direct the management staff in developing the company’s internal and external communication strategies and plans, monitoring industry competition, generating partner and stakeholders relation strategy and execution framework at regional/national and international levels.
8.Research and evaluate product demand and cooperative opportunities within the market, establish and coordinate relationships with government institutions, hospitals, clinics and nursing facilities to improve product adoption and user loyalty.
9.Organize and lead the company’s effort in carrying out social responsibilities, establishing public knowledge of our products, providing guide in achieving better community engagement by implementing practices such as holding info sessions in local communities, donating medical devices to the agencies in need, and other activities associated with promoting public relationships.
10.Represent the company to report to the board of directors, and interact with the key stakeholders and investors on the company’s operational performance, business plan and long-term strategies to build up the company’s reputation and market share.


Qualifications:
1.A college diploma in business, management and other related majors is required.
2.Previous working experience in an executive role for at least 5 years.
3.Knowledge in the medical device industry or other related fields is highly preferred.
4.Has a solid marketing and sales background and experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end.
5.Experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting and negotiating; knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
6.Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership and project management skills.
7.In-depth knowledge of the company product and the niche market, the ability to detect market dynamics and advise on resolutions accordingly.
