LOVELY PAO, a fast growing company which specializes in the best Filipino steamed buns, is in need of MEAT CUTTERS with the following qualifications and functions:
Position title: MEAT CUTTER
Job Location: Guelph, ON
Vacancies: 3
Salary: $16 per hour; 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: 1st shift - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Benefits: All government-prescribed
Job Requirements:
Language - English
Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience - 3 years to less than 5 years
Security and Safety - Criminal Record Check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities - Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
Work Location Information - In shop
Personal Suitability - Dependability, Judgement, reliability, organized, initiative
Additional Skills: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting; Wrap and package prepared meats
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Slicing machine, power grinder, manual cutting utensil
Specific Skills:
1. Cut carcasses, sides and quarters.
2. Cut, trim and prepare standards cuts of meat.
3. Remove bones from meat.
4. Cut poultry into parts.
5. Clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
6. Cut fish into steaks and fillets.
7. Grind meats.
8. Make special sausages.
9. Slice cooked meats.
10. Prepare special orders.
11. Shape lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood.
