Position Summary
As our application is being restructured, it is important that our new Systems Testing Technician (NOC 2283) has experience with user acceptance testing as we roll out new phases to our existing and potential clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing and debugging of our web and mobile application
- Design, deploy and maintain testing environment for functional and performance testing
- Develop, document and analyze results of software and application tests
- Document bugs/issues and work with the development team to debug problems
- Perform functional review, test planning, environment setup, test case creation and regression testing before product version releases
- Produce internal documentation for QA as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- 3+ years experience communicating with developers and/or technical teams
- 3+ years experience working with and/or testing cloud based applications a plus
Nice to haves:
- Experience providing technical support to end users an asset
- Familiarity with testing against OWASP standards and other web testing
- Experience with automated testing for web applications
WAGES: $32 per hourly 40 hours/week Permanent Full-time position
