Duties:

• Repair, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy duty equipment used in transportation.
• Check and Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerised and other testing equipment to determine how much repair is required.
• Check cranes and other heavy construction equipment’s for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect any malfunctions.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine what the solution will be.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications.
• Measure vehicle emissions to ensure they are in the proper limits
• Lubricate, clean and maintain work equipments.
• May perform repair work on heavy trucks and equipments.
