Sapporo Japanese Restaurant is a welcoming restaurant in Hamilton that has a passion for serving Ontario’s most delicious Japanese cuisine. The food here is fresh, authentic and diverse. Our extensive menu features all the usual sushi, sashimi, noodle and donburi items, but there’s also more which will definitely hit the spot.

We are looking for an expert Web Developer to build interoperable and customized restaurant management webs that include online ordering, delivery managing functions and other feature-rich restaurant management features to help restaurant operations run smoothly.

Position Description:
Title: Web Developer
Wage: $40/hour
Working Hour: 30 hours/week
Employee Type: Full-time, Permanent

Basic Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or a related field is required
(2) At least 3 years of experience working as a Web Developer is required
(3) Proven experience in using web front-end and back-end development languages
(4) Ability to develop new instances within existing architectures and make improvements
(5) Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the owner to understand and decide the relevant web-design subjects, including website layout, functionalities and overall navigation path.
2. Architect, design, build and maintain testable front-end components and mock-ups website to preview the webs structure and surface layer.
3. Draft the sitemap to show the pages layout of the website; visualize the website’s inner structure.
4. Establish a storyboard to represent the websites modules, features and functionalities, including online order management, table management and menu management.
5. Prepare for the web page writing and assembly to finalize the website content, including menu page with details of price and recipes, online payment page with rating function, etc.
6. Conduct website development skills based on the website hierarchy to build the framework, add special features and implement content management system.
7. Test the website and review code to check if the code follows the web standards and make sure the server can smoothly handle the installation and set-up.
8. Conduct ongoing website maintenance, monitoring, regular updating and solving possible problems the end-users face.
