Duties may include:
? Triaging inbound referrals
? Performing new patient consults and follow-up appointments under the supervision and guidance of an REI physician
? Developing individualized testing and treatment plans for patients under the supervision of an REI physician
? Educating and counselling patients on fertility treatment options and ways to optimize natural fertility
? Reviewing and interpreting test results
? Preparing charts before and after clinic appointments
? Documenting clinical encounters
? Answering patient and nursing team questions between patient appointments
? Conceiving, planning, and leading clinical research studies that complement Twig’s mission and care philosophy
Requirements:
? Completion of a university degree in a physician assistant program or equivalent education
? 1.5 - 3 years of work experience in the field of fertility and reproductive health
? Formal training in OBGYN is required
? Advanced understanding of reproductive health, infertility, and assisted reproductive technologies (ART)
? Exceptional communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of an interprofessional team
? Significant research experience with at least 10 peer- reviewed publications in top tier journals preferred
