Home Support Worker (NOC:4412)
I need a reliable Home Support Worker at Delta, BC, Canada to take care of my Elderly mother 82 years.
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Wage Rate: $19.50 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening, overtime if required.
Education: High School
Experience: Experience is an asset.
Languages: English
Benefits: Relocation costs with be covered by the employer as well as the first 3 months of medical insurance, if required.
Job Duties:
• Personal care to my mother such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Provide elderly and convalescent with companionship.
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding
• May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Administering medications.
• Accompany to daily activities; shopping, appointments, and to community centers
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory
Other Information: Position is available and open to Aboriginal people, youth, new immigrants, Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
