Hourly Wage: $36.5/hour
Weekly Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
Position: Language School Instructor
Location: 205-9011 Leslie St, Richmond Hill ON L3B 4B6
Responsibilities:
• Implement our proven teaching process, utilizing provided materials, to guide students through comprehensive language learning.
• Conduct systematic lectures, facilitate discussions, engage in simulated dialogues, and supervise group projects.
• Achieve teaching objectives within designated timeframes, ensuring exceptional quality in alignment with school plans.
• Deliver personalized instruction and guidance, catering to students of varying English proficiency levels.
• Develop course schedules, compile materials, and design syllabi, enhancing the learning experience.
• Evaluate individual student language progress and propose solutions for improvement.
• Continuously refine teaching methods based on student feedback and learning progress.
• Participate in school-organized training, conferences, and research activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field with an English teaching certificate (CELTA/ TESOL/ TEFL).
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant teaching experience, ideally with IELTS and Cambridge International modules.
• Proficient in teaching IELTS components: reading, speaking, writing, and listening.
• Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
• Effective assessment and assignment marking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor and guide students.
• Collaborative attitude towards curriculum development and project management.
• Committed to professional development and achieving performance targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
