Job Duties:
• Supervise and oversee the working of the kitchen and other staff and provide assistance.
• Determine needs in kitchenware and equipment and place orders accordingly.
• Coordinate communication between front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house staff
• Prepare work schedules for the staff.
• Assess staff’s performance periodically and provide them feedback.
• Keep detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs and revenues.
• Recruit new staff and arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling training and ordering uniforms)
• Determine new wholesale food suppliers and negotiate prices
• Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Resolve customers’ complaints, receive guests’ feedback and accordingly recommend improvements to our menus and services.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary school
• Completion of college or any other programs related to hospitality or food and beverage service management would be an asset but not mandatory.
• 1+ years of experience in the same field would be preferred.
