Nautical Nellies Steak and Seafood restaurant has been operating for over 26 years, and we pride ourselves on our fantastic culture and incredible staff. We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, ensuring that food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
• Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies when necessary
• Keep up to date with industry trends and techniques
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety protocols
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Great attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow as a professional
