Cutefeet Childcare is looking for 1 full-time Early Childhood Educator Assistant. The job description is as follows:
Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
NOC: 42202
Salary: $28.00 per hour
Terms of Employment: Full Time/Permanent
Positions Available: 1
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
• Assist early childhood educators in implementing initiatives that foster kids' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts.
• Arrange spaces or furnishings for lunch and rest breaks and prepare refreshments.
• Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
• Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties.
• May assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
• Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members.
Job Requirement:
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Experience: Experience an asset
Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses
• Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
