Job Description
- Supervise and plan the job duties of workers who install, repair and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures and control devices or power systems
- Plan and estimate electrical jobs
- Set up guidelines to meet deadlines and manage work with other departments/contractors
- Maintain knowledge of electrical materials
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Resolve workplace issues and suggest strategies to boost productivity
- Train newly hired and existing workers
- Assist in hiring and promotional procedures
- Determine procedures for maintenance, installation, modification and repair of electrical assignments
- Maintain safe working standards and generate work progress reports
