Aroma Espresso Bar is a food and coffee chain located in Toronto, Ontario. We provide high-quality coffees, salad, gourmet sandwiches, and all-day breakfast. To serve our customers better with efficient and professional service, we’re currently looking for a full-time Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020) who can join our leading team.
Position Descriptions (Main Duties)
• Overview and confirm work shifts/schedules for both Front of the House (FOH) and Back of the House (BOH) staff and manage their vacancies if required
• Supervise the activities in food preparation and serving food and beverage
• Estimate and place order to the vendors for required food and beverage ingredients in regular basis and other related supplies for store operation
• Ensure and record daily inventory counts and keep track of invoices
• Provide training and guidance to staff in preparation and handling of food as well as customer service standard
• Responsible for overseeing store operation and providing outstanding food and beverage service to customers
• Monitor sanitation practices in all work areas to ensure staff follow standards and safety regulations, including the updated COVID-19 protocol
• Maintain and constantly improve the level of overall food and service meet quality control standards
• Assist in the process of recruitment and the development of store policies, operation procedures and budgets and food and labour costs
• Actively participate in various Aroma’s season meetings
Requirements
• Minimum 2 year of experience in food preparation or service industry
• Minimum secondary school diploma
• Ability to work in an extremely busy and fast paced environment under pressure and ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Ability to discuss and approach with the best possible solutions to customers’ and employees’ complaints and concerns to resolve conflicts
• Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff in the organization
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekend
Compensations and Others
• $17.00 per hour based upon 40 hours working per week
• 10 days of paid vacation after each 12-month vacation entitlement year
• Work location: 8 Park home Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M2N 2J2
