Is seeking four drywall installers. Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $25.00 / hour . 35 hours per week. (Full-time, permanent)
Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Be able to communicate in English (oral and written)
At least 7 months’ experience
Duties:
Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels
Tape over joints
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
Involves tight deadlines, work under pressure, hand-eye co-ordination, repetitive tasks, walking, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling and is physically demanding. Also requires flexibility, reliability, client focus, judgement, dependability and handling up to 50 pounds.
