Perla Oyster Bar & Grill is looking for One (1) Cook to perform the following duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• May set up and oversee buffets
• May clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• May hire and train kitchen staff.
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $25 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately
Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: high school or relevant experience
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation/cooking, in kitchen preparation and cooking
