Wage: $ 34 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Must have 1 year to less than 2 years’ experience as a Machinist. JOB DUTIES:
· Supervise and coordinate the work of machinists and other staff such as machine operators, helpers, and general labour.
· Oversee the setup of machining equipment. Ensure that machines are properly maintained and repaired to minimize downtime.
· Plan and organize production schedules to ensure that orders are completed on time.
· Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and supplies required for machining operations. Place orders for materials and maintain adequate stock levels to support continuous production.
· Enforce safety regulations and procedures in the machining area.
· Ensure that machine parts meet quality standards and specifications.
· Troubleshoot issues related to machine processes, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from quality standards.
· All other related tasks as may be required.
