Duties Ethnic Baker
1. Prepare dough for Indian cuisine, snacks with rigid spice mix and other ethnic herbs i.e. puff, pastries and sweet goods.
2. Prepare dough and bake ethnic breads including Tandoor (Oven) breads. i.e Naan bread, Oven baked Missi Roti etc.
3. Portion, roll, knead, cut or shape dough to form different types of ethnic breads and sweet goods as per the specified recipe.
4. Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to tossing or hand-forming ethnic breads
5. Bake mixed doughs and batters for Indian deserts, snacks and ethnic condiments.
6. Prepare sauces related to baked goods.
7. Ensure quality of products meets established standards and match the original taste and recipe.
8. Organize, maintain the inventory, and order supplies for baking and ethnic ingredients used in Baking.
9. Any other related tasks
