Job Description
· Arrange, maintain, install, and remove telephone apparatus, wiring and related equipment
· Check pre-installed systems of telephone to find faults related to transmission
· Mend faulty or damaged telephones, wires, and related apparatus
· Instate systems like digital/ analog or electromechanical systems at telecommunication service centres
· Test and check systems of trunking apparatus
· Use testing procedures that are computerized for testing services on customer lines and apparatus
· Analyze the type, reason, and point of service problem
· Prepare and maintain test reports and records of service
· Assist repair team to check systems, lines/circuits, repair faults and check records
· Instate and keep up with all the telecommunication systems, apparatus, and other associated machines like telex, scanning machines, teletypewriters, cell phones, telephones, pagers and other related telecommunication devices
· Structure operating systems and instate software
