This role will involve supporting a client engagement which is at a critical stage in the client onboarding process. The Test Lead/ Test Manager will conduct Business Test Management, Business Acceptance Testing and Client Integration Testing for the integrated enterprise suite being implemented for investment management middle office services. The Test Lead/ Test Manager will interact with internal and external stakeholders and manage expectations of both the client and internal teams. The day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Duties:

• End-to- end business process validation & test management for onboarding clients;
• Leading test strategy, client test planning, and conferring with external clients, senior managers & executives;
• Providing ongoing test execution status to senior and executive management and other stakeholders;
• Being the single point of contact for all testing & validation activities for the client, business analyst group, operational readiness, business operations, and the IT & configuration teams;
• Designing & architecting test parallel & production parallel tests;
• Co-ordinating with the implementation /development team for requirement gathering, deployment status, planning testing accordingly and preparing test data;
• Analyzing portfolio data requirements for end-to-end test validations, creating test data solutions to improve performance and efficiency for end client reporting Project Management;
• Managing the project team’s activities, facilitating communication upward to the management team level and across all development units (e.g., business analysis, development, quality assurance) to manage risk and communicate issues;
• Leading joint triage process during client test execution triage investigation requests, issue/defect assignments, tracking & follow-ups, and providing status reports on various test issues/defects;
• Collaborating with business leads and IT leads to define architectural requirements to finalize client test platform requirements
• Resource planning-both internal & external which impacts across the program, Business, Operation, IT (SSC) & IT (External), Business Analysts, Program Managers, Test (internal & external);
• Onboarding services for front office offerings;
• Executing orders from manager workbench and trade blotter workspaces;
• Onboarding services for middle office offerings;
• Onboarding services for reporting offerings;
• Quality assurance for parquet file generation, validation and delivery to client; and
• Monitoring the ALPHA Portal to ensure completion of batch cycles and data delivery.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Test Management (test execution tracking, defect tracking, test planning, and the preparation of test artefacts) for Capital Markets/ Asset Management projects;
• Experience with investment accounting or operations;
• Experience in smoke testing, regression testing, integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
• Solid understanding of the Trade Life Cycle and flows for financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, foreign exchange and OTC derivatives);
• Solid understanding of trade management activities such as trade capture, trade enrichment, data management, trade confirmations, settled notification and failed reporting;
• Solid understanding of End-to-End data flows from various sources such as Front Office, external interfaces/vendors, Investment book of records (IBOR);
• Solid understanding of record keeping functions such as bookkeeping, cash management, income processing, corporate actions processing and reconciliations;
• Solid understanding of Cloud services and data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake;
• Working knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) or equivalent Query languages;
• Experience with Test Management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA;
• Experience with MS Office Products including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• Experience interacting with clients, driving calls and meetings;
• Effective organizational, decision making, and communication skills;
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and presentation skills; and
• Strong relationship management skills.
