$20/hr or $31,200/year
Working Hours: 30 hrs/week
Reporting to: Retail Regional Sales Manager
Type: Permanent, Full Time, non-seasonal
Job Duties:
1. Leading store associates and assistant managers by assigning roles and duties and directing them to achieve daily goals and tasks.
2. Providing excellent customer service, responding, and resolving any customer issues or requests, managing exchanges and refunds.
3. Responsible for training and managing store associates and assistant managers.
4. Responsible for overseeing merchandise volume and communicating it to the store manager to ensure availability of merchandise.
5. Responsible for supervising the pricing, restocking, and merchandising of the store to achieve sales targets.
6. Collaborating with store managers and assistant managers to develop strategies for achieving the expected sale and payroll targets as well as evaluating the effects of competitors’ strategies on our sales.
7. Responsible for evaluating and responding to escalated issues between store associates and customers and providing customer satisfaction.
8. Responsible for addressing the staffing requirements and taking part in interviewing, hiring, retaining as well as firing staff members according to business needs.
9. Responsible for keeping up to date with market information and trends to anticipate demand and sales volume.
10. Responsible to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum College education
1-2 years of Retail Supervisor or related experience
Experience with retail sales of hobbyist or novelty items, or toys, an asset
