$35/hr or $54,600/year
Working Hours: 30 hrs/week
Reporting to: Retail Regional Sales Manager
Type: Permanent, Full Time, non-seasonal
Job Duties:
1. Providing leadership to the assigned region, overseeing all the retail activities and stores that come under your command.
2. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing regional sales and operational records and using that data to predict sales, determine profitability, set targets, and find new markets.
3. Responsible for hiring, training and supervising store managers and assistant managers for each location that comes under your command.
4. Collaborate with store managers and assistant managers to develop strategies for achieving the expected sale and payroll targets by the company.
5. Responsible for developing strategies and promotions to drive up sales and attract potential customers.
6. Responsible for keeping up to date with the competition, market, and trends in sales.
7. Responsible for making and implementing budgets for stores that come under command and monitoring and approving their expenses.
8. Responsible for evaluating and responding to escalated issues between managers and customers and providing customer satisfaction.
9. Responsible to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum College education
2-3 years of Retail Management or related experience
Experience with retail sales of hobbyist or novelty items, or toys, an asset
