Urban Tadka Caterings Inc. O/A Urban Tadka located at 335 Deerhurst Drive, Unit 9-11, Brampton, Ontario, L6T 5K3 requires 1 Manager – Caterings and Events on a Permanent and Full-time basis. Wage: $ 27.50 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Must have 1 year to less than 2 years’ experience in managing catering and events. Job Duties :
1. Manage and run the overall operations of caterings, events, and banquets.
2. Planning the venue layout according to the number of guests and the type of event.
3. Ensuring that tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and audiovisual equipment are in place and properly arranged.
4. Establish relationships with local businesses, event planners, and organizations to generate catering leads.
5. Meet and discuss with clients to finalize food menus, seating charts, and total cost of the event.
6. Lead the supervisors in various departments in all aspects.
7. Manage inventory and supplies for catering events.
8. Act as the main point of contact for clients and guests during the event, addressing any concerns or special requests.
9. Any other task for the smooth execution of the events.
