Job Duties:
Consult with clients, engineers and suppliers to establish product specifications, and requirements
Analyze the intended use of product and user preferences, and customize design to user needs and preferences
Research design and implementation costs, and properties of production materials
Take onsite measurements and develop manual and computer-assisted design (CAD) concepts, sketches or models for approval
Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production and construct prototype of design
Consult with engineers and production staff during manufacturing and implementation stage
Oversee implementation and installation
Conduct follow-ups with clients, and implement any necessary adjustments
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours/week)
Language of Work: English
Wage: $36.54/hour

Skills Requirements:
A university degree in industrial design, architecture, or engineering or a college diploma in industrial design.
Creative ability, as demonstrated by a portfolio of work
3+ years of experience in product design, architecture, engineering

Sketchup, Lumion or similar 3D modeling software
