Main Duties of the Records Office Supervisor (NOC 12010):
• Supervise and coordinate the daily office activities.
• Assign and review the work of clerks engaged in record keeping, filing, data entry, operating telephone and other activities involving general office and administrative skills duties.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with office staff.
• Schedule and prioritize office activities to meet operating requirements as well as determine plan and direct workflow.
• Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, protection, and disposition of all the records.
• Develop record distribution and auditing the information that is created and stored within an organization.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to ensure efficiency.
• Resolve work-related issues and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Train new staff regarding their job responsibilities, company policies and safety procedures
• Develop and monitor the work of staff and provide necessary training, guidance, and motivation to staff.
• Ensure that all the computers, photocopiers and other office equipment are in proper working order. Arranging for repair and maintenance of office equipment.
• Order Office supplies, materials, and equipment’s
• Performing the same duties as workers supervised as and when required.
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience as supervisor is required in related field.
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Wage:
$31.80/ hour, 35 hours/week
