As a Web Developer of our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our online presence. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites and web applications that enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Job Duties:
1. Analyze the client's need for travel-related features and update our website with a visually appealing and user-friendly website interface containing clear navigation, easy-to-read terms, and fast page loading times.
2. Write codes for the planned website upgrades utilizing common programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, HTML, or CSS.
3. Ensure software stability via regression, support quality assurance, and perform unit and user-acceptance testing to identify bugs.
4. Provide regular maintenance to our website system and ensure all comprehensive functions respond to user actions well across different platforms.
5. Optimize our website’s on-page and off-page data to improve its visibility in search engine results to attract more traffic and potential clients.
6. Create an accessible content management system for our staff to update and change website content, including travel packages, itineraries, pricing, and blog posts.
7. Set up eye-catching hyperlinks on the website to redirect to our external social media profiles and incorporate social sharing features to promote travel packages.
8. Constantly examine our system for security breaches and implement security measures to protect client data and our website from cyber threats.
9. Utilize web analytics tools like Google Analytics to track website performance, visitor conversion rate, and traffic volume against industry competitors; submit reports to the management to make informed decisions and improvements.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
1. A college diploma in computer science or relevant working experience in a similar field is mandatory.
2. At least one year of experience related to developing a website or directly linked tasks is required.
3. Showing past achievements in building and maintaining functional websites is an asset.
4. Familiar with common web designing languages such as Javascript, HTML5, C++, or others.
5. Good at communicating with other staff and listening to various feedback.
6. Possess an analytical and patient mind at work.
7. Able to multi-task and solve problems quickly with functioning solutions.
