Job duties:
1. Manage the operations of restaurant with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the Restaurant.
2. Identify and delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
3. Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
4. Implement new restaurant policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff. Provide direction to staff to achieve restaurant goals.
5. Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Recruit restaurant staff. Train and coach staff on Mandarin guest services principles and practices. Assess staff performance on an ongoing basis.
7. Manage staffing levels and prepare weekly schedule.
8. Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engages guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
9. Consistently monitor product and labour costs to remain within goals.
10. Resolve customer complaints. Solicit their feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
11. Follow the Mandarin Restaurant policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security.
12. Follow inventory control and product purchasing procedures.
13. Develop and implement creative solutions to areas of improvement.
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $27.50 per hour
Regular working hours: 35 hours per week

Benefits package: 10 days paid vacation every year or 4% of the salary in lieu of vacation pay
