Tosca Floors Inc. located in Mississauga Ontario is seeking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The right candidate is required to assist in building, deploying, and maintaining data support tools and database files for our sales and inventory control. Details of the position is listed as following:

Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position
Proposed Salary: $ 67,000 - $ 90,000 per year based on experience and performance, overtime pay and vacation pay
Location: 2612 Drew Road, Mississauga, Ontario L4T 3M5
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain data, and apply technical solutions to meet supply chain operational needs;
• Conduct analysis and present findings/recommendations to partners;
• Create dashboards and alerts to supervise data normality, processes, and KPI’s;
• Implement tools and techniques to quickly supervise data processes to maintain data integrity;
• Demonstrate technical expertise to internal and external teams for all supply chain applications and processes as it relates to data;
• Research and review technologies and products to simplify tasks, remove duplications, while improving stability and performance;
• Select the appropriate data analytics technics and data assets to address the business requirements with strong focus on data visualization and geospatial data presentation;
• Present the outcome of the data analytics solution to the business units using business friendly terms;
• Support and enforce established data standards and guidelines;
• Collect, interpret and analyzes data and provides ongoing reporting;
• Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion;
• Assist with new initiatives and projects by understanding impacts on data flows, business constraints and requirements;
• Develop and execute a regional business plan aligning with specific project goals;
• Collaborate with division and other staff to interpret data, identify trends, communicate meaning and develop recommendations based on findings;
• Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels;
• Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics.
Qualifications:
• University Degree in Computer Science or Statistics, or related major
• minimum 6+ months data analysis or related experience is required;
• Comprehensive knowledge of data platform architecture, data modeling, database optimization, data management practices and processes
• Well versed in programming languages like Python, PHP, CSS, Java, VBA and Excel.
• Proficient in database systems of SQL
• Excellent communication and teamwork spirit
• Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively
• Fluent in English
