About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with hands on experience with Rotary die and metal blade sharpening. You will be directly involved with the machinery that requires very specific machinery experience and operating in all stages including but not limited to operate and setup multi-purpose machinery to produce metal parts and products, sharpening of rotary dies, maintenance, and quality control. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members and in a highly demanding environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sharpen Rotary Dies and slitting wheels. Machine clean, polish Anvil Rolls
• Operate and set-up multi-purpose metal works machines
• Help produce metal parts and products
• Check products for correct specifications and quality
• Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools
• Clean and lubricate equipment or replace parts as required
• Knowledge to operate lathe, cylindrical grinder and micro spot-welding machine is an asset
• Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products
Specific Skills:
Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products, Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products, check products for quality and other specifications, Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.

Hand-eye co-ordination
Combination of sitting, standing and walking
Experience:
1-3 years of experience required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Rotary Die Industry required.
Knowledge to operate lathe, cylindrical grinder and micro spot-welding machine will be considered as an asset.
