Responsibilities:
Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers
Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
Investigate electrical or electronic failures
Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
Operate control panel switches
Implement data, software and hardware security procedures
Maintain and repair installation equipment, help with the installation, the assembly, and repairs to equipment
Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
Install, troubleshoot and repair (down to the component level) of industrial and automation equipment
Programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Click, Wago, DoMore, ProductivityOpen) using Ladder diagrams, Function block diagram, Statement list, Logic functions, Arduino
Programming HMIs (Allen Bradley, C-more, ATLAS Industrial, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell International, ABB, Mitsubishi), Control panels and Instrumentation
Design, install and programming of Safety systems based on Allen Bradley, SafeGuard and Reer PLCs using specific programming languages
Install and troubleshoot Vision systems, Drives, Robots, Servo systems
Troubleshooting and programming of ABB, Panasonic, Yaskawa, Kuka and Fanuc Robots
Advanced user of programming and monitoring software: RX Logix 5000, Studio 5000, RS NetWorx, FactoryTalk View, DriveTools SP, UltraWARE, Emonitor Condition Monitoring, IntelliCenter, Connected Components Workbench Software, Motion Analyzer Software, Simatic Manager, ABB RobotStudio, KUKA WorkVisual, Panasonic DTPS Desktop Programming & Simulation System
Design, install and troubleshoot network systems (wired, wireless and fiber) based on automation protocols (DF1, EtherNet/IP, ModBus, DH , DH485, MelsecNet, Profinet, MTConnect, BACnet, M-Bus)
Design, install and troubleshoot cellular broadband for SCADA/DCS systems (ISA S99)
Design and implement security (using cryptography security) for real time MODBUS transmissions and MODBUS broadcasting communication
Troubleshoot and repair (down to the component level) robot’s internal computers
Design, deploy and admin Network Data Security
Install / troubleshoot / repair computers / devices with different Operating System: Windows, UNIX/Linux, OS X, Android, IOS, VMWare, Novell, RobotWare
Design, deploy and monitor cyber security risks and vulnerability mitigation techniques in different network designs, including SCADA and PLC networks
