JOB DUTIES:
-Assist in preparing tools, equipment, and work areas for mechanics. Ensure the availability of necessary materials and parts.
-Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles or machinery under the supervision of a qualified mechanic.
-Provide support during repair and maintenance procedures as directed by the lead mechanic.
-Learn and apply basic mechanical skills under supervision.
-Keep the workshop clean and organized.
-Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
-Assist in inventory management, tracking tools, and ordering supplies as needed.
-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
-Provide support in delivering vehicles to customers when required.
-Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
-Complete required documentation in a timely and organized manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid Driver’s license is an asset.
-Basic mechanical aptitude or vocational training.
-Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
-Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
-Stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
