Purpose of the Job
Role of a dedicated General Manager – Business Services will be to oversee complete business operations.
1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:
• Determine the strategic direction and formulate the vision of the business and make operational policies accordingly.
• Define the roles and responsibilities of the team; ensure that the organization functions and production functions are smooth including the human resources, finance, accounting, sale and marketing.
• Analyze market dynamics, market share changes, product line performance, and competitive intelligence.
• Identify strategic partnership opportunities and identify strategic risks.
• Collaborate with leadership, special committees, and consultants to execute strategies.
• Communicate strategy effectively throughout the company.
• Ensure suitable metrics are in place to measure performance and progress and monitor execution of business initiatives.
• Redesign the financial management and administration procedures that will enhance the revenue and profitability of the company.
• Increase the efficiency of staff and team members by developing training and mentoring schedules; identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the performance assessments.
• Develop a 3-year financial management strategy including negotiation, financial reporting internally and externally, and budget management.
• Responsible for financial management, new business feasibility analysis and planning for the organisation.
• Coordinate annual organisation level audits.
2. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in senior management role
• Experience dealing with clients and working as a team lead
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Excellent command on English language, reading, writing, and speaking
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work within tight deadlines
• Able to build rapport, excellent time and project management skills
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in multicultural work environment
3. Working Conditions
• The General Manager – Business Services of the company will be working full time for minimum 37.5 hours a week,
• May be required to work some overtime hours to attend meetings during specific periods as per business needs.
• Will report directly to the Director
