Duties:
• Managing and operating a high-volume quick-serve food and beverage (F&B) bakery café
• Manage staff, products, quality assurance, inventory, and daily operations including shift scheduling to maximize sales, cost and staff efficiency
• Managing and resolving customer, staff, and store issues and report all incidents to the Directors
• Managing vendor relationships including third party and franchise head office
• Assisting the Directors with supply chain management and negotiations and proactively engaging in business development and marketing
• Leading a team of supervisors, bakers, and associates responsible for multiple tasks, including but not limited to, customer service, baking, and drink making to achieve and measure tangible high-performance
• Tracking and making recommendations on reward and recognition to the Directors
• Managing with the bakery supervisor to plan, organize and control inventory
• Managing reports related to inventory, revenue, business and staff performance and make statistically backed recommendations to the Directors
• Championing health and safety regulations and education to create a safe, clean, welcoming, positive, and enjoyable environment for customers and employees
• Leading recruiting, training, and overseeing staff performance
• Mastering standard of products (SOP) in order to, whenever required, prepare baked goods and drinks accurately and in a timely manner and to serve and sell with passion and professionalism
• Bringing a smile to each customer and treating colleagues the same way and effectively and skillfully addressing all concerns and issues with logic, kindness, and results-driven resolutions
Requirements:
• College diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in a related service, operations, or hospitality field is required
• Food Safety Handler Certificate is required
• 1+ year of related supervisory experience
• 2+ years of experience in the food service sector with quick-serve restaurants or cafés
• Experience baking and drink making at a franchise location, preferably with Asian food and beverages;
• Excellent command of interpersonal skills including communications, issues management, customer service, staff management, and a calm, positive, friendly, can-do attitude to solve problems, to learn, to adapt, and to treat everyone with respect, empathy, and kindness
• Innate business acumen including proven operational excellence, relationship management, and meticulous attention to detail
