At Boss Tires, we provide quality services related to cars and tires. We have an extensive selection of passenger, performance, light truck and SUV tires for virtually every make and model on the road today. Our services include tire changeover, tire bolt on, tire repair, tire rebalancing, window tints, caliper painting etc.
Purpose of the Job
To improve the quality of our business and service, we are introducing on the road and in house services as well. We need a Delivery Driver for this service, who can serve as a driver for the tire delivery services and a driver for the technicians to provide a service.
1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:
• Provide timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, and promptly report any issues or discrepancies to management
• Ensures a safe work environment by driving the vehicle safely, following road rules, reporting defects or incidents, and adhering to company safety policies. Notifies management of any safety hazards.
• Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the tire shop and equipment by ensuring that delivery vehicles are consistently clean.
• Responsible for loading and unloading of the deliveries and making sure that all products are safely secured.
• Maintain the necessary paperwork for the deliveries and maintain accurate records for all deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including routine checks, timely servicing, and addressing any mechanical issues to guarantee safe and efficient operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and consistently portray our company in a professional manner.
• Accept payments for tire deliveries, submitting all cash received along with the necessary paperwork to the shop at the end of each delivery run.
2. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
• Secondary education is required.
• More than 2 years of experience in driving professionally.
• Possess a Valid class G driver’s license
• Must be able to multi-task and be deadline oriented; Positive attitude and Team oriented
• Excellent command on English language, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to drive the vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Working Conditions
• The Delivery Driver will be working full time for minimum 37.5 hours a week,
• May be required to work some overtime hours to attend meetings during specific periods as per business needs.
• Maybe required to work weekends and evening shifts.
• Will report directly to the Director.
