Our logistic service includes ocean freight, air freight, trucking and warehousing and customs brokerage. We are currently seeking an experienced Logistic Solution Data Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of deep learning, data analysis, logistics operations, warehousing management along with proficiency in related programming languages to optimize logistic solutions for our company.
Position Details:

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Salary expectation: $ 90,000- $ 110,000 per year based on experience and performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of logistics data to identify patterns, trends and insights.
• Utilize advanced data analyst techniques to optimize supply chain management, demand forecasting, route planning, inventory management, and other logistics operations, to ensure streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.
• Consider variables such as delivery deadlines, vehicle capacities, traffic conditions, and cost efficiency to and apply algorithms to optimize transportation routing, scheduling, and load planning.
• Implement state-of-the-art techniques to assess data related to transportation routes, weather conditions, supplier performance, and market dynamics to identify potential risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
• Develop data analyst models to forecast customer demand based on historical data, market trend, and other relevant factors to facilitate inventory management, resource allocation, and better customer service and cost optimization.
• Deploy computer vision algorithms to automate barcode scanning, track package movement and verify shipments against orders and improve warehousing management through optimizing automated sorting, picking and packing processes.
• Provide insights on the most efficient arrangement of warehousing to optimize the allocation of space, improve traffic flow, and improve overall warehouse productivity.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex logistics data and insights and communicate key performance indicators, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Engage with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, carriers, and customers, to gather data and insights that can improve logistics processes.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, computer system or a related discipline is required
• Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience is required. Experience in logistics and warehousing solution settings is preferred.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, Java on Linux and Windows is required
• An excellent team player and detailed orientated
• Fluent in English
