We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
Job Duties
-Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and bulldozers, ensuring safe and efficient use.
-Execute excavation, grading, and backfilling tasks in adherence to project specifications.
-Safely load, unload, and transport materials within construction sites.
-Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles to facilitate work.
-Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report any mechanical issues.
-Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
-Troubleshoot and address equipment issues, including the completion of minor repairs.
-Maintain accurate records of daily activities and strictly adhere to safety regulations.
-Ensure work meets quality standards and follows environmental guidelines.
-Comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations governing construction activities.
Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school education.
-1 to 2 years working in a similar or related environment.
-Trade certification for heavy equipment operator.
-Organized and detail oriented.
-Valid Ontario drivers license.
