Northstar is a masonry contracting company that has been providing masonry services in the Greater Toronto Area. We are a unionized company and we are now looking to hire Bricklayers in our company.
Job Duties
-Understand and follow blueprints for residential and commercial projects.
-Use power tools and other hand equipment to cut bricks and concrete blocks following specifications.
-Prepare materials to construct or repair, such as blocks, bricks, stone, tiles, etc.
-Lay, install bricks, stones or other material in the construction surface.
-Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
-Using bricks or other masonry materials build patios, garden walls or other decorative installations.
-Other duties as required such as restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures.
Requirements
-Completion of High School (Preferred).
-1 - 3+ years of experience working in a related field or equivalent diplomas or certificates (Preferred).
-Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
-Loading and Unloading heavyweight.
