Deacon’s Corner is looking for an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team.
Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager (Permanent)

Working Location: 101 Main Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6A 2S5
Working Hours: 35-40 hrs/ wk (Full-time)
Wage: $25.00 to $28.50 / Hour (To be negotiated) (Overtime will be paid at 1.5 time the regular wage after 8hrs/day and after 40hrs/wk.)
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation fee

Job Duties:
- Manage, control, assess daily operations,
- Managing & balancing sales reports, such as balance sheets and other related reports,
- Participate in staffing process, recruiting, training, supervising, assessing staff performance, overseeing performance evaluations, and preparing staff work schedules,
- Ensure proper operational procedures and health & safety regulations are followed
- Handle arrangements with suppliers for products/produce, and organize and maintain inventory,
- Provide customer service and address & resolve customers' complaints or concerns,
Qualification:
- Completion of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent years of experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience in the food service industry required.
- Fluent in English; Excellent oral communication and excellent written communication
