Job Title: Vice-President - Marketing

Early Learners Montessori School

This is a senior management position that will report to the Directors of Early Learners Montessori School. Early Learners Montessori Schools are leading childcare centres with structured programming for ages 16 months to 6 years. We believe every child is unique. By understanding, respecting, and nurturing each phase of childhood, we inspire a genuine, lifelong love of learning. In keeping with the Montessori framework, we remain focused on constantly building upon the individual skills and knowledge the child acquires, at every age level.
With a broad, rich, and unique curriculum, trained teachers, and a culturally diverse classroom we develop our students to their fullest potential—ethically, intellectually, socially, and physically.

We currently have 3 Campuses in Ontario, Canada (Whitby, Orangeville, and Bolton) and growing very quickly. We need a dynamic leader with a strong marketing background and expertise to help us with promoting and growing our Group of Early learning childcare centres.


Job Duties
• Establish the marketing goals and objectives for the Group and lead from the front.
• Manage all the groups, campuses/schools and oversee strategic development and marketing initiates striving for operational excellence, including identifying and targeting areas to improve the group operations.
• Continual communication with Directors relating to the marketing, fiscal responsibility, and information flow.
• Monitoring of day-to-day operations to ensuring coordination and communication between all functions.
• Lead and manage teams in focused initiatives providing support and guidance within organizational goals and values.
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.
• Strategize and oversee short and long-term goals for internal teams
• Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies and be the spokesperson for the Brand.
• Negotiate with vendors such as design/creative firms, news media, paid marketing solution providers, bloggers/social media influencers etc and build and maintain a robust vendor network for recurring and future campaigns.
• Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources including HR/Finance etc accordingly.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
• Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department and be responsible for hiring senior and middle management positions.
• Lead and actively participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the Group’s objectives
• Build effective systems and pitches with sales/admission teams to ensure that families consider alternative campuses when spacing is limited/full.
• Manage and elevate the Early Learners’ Montessori School brand by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, students, and parents – and building internal processes that allow for the identification of effective storytelling opportunities.
• Restructure, reorganise and direct the entire marketing department and coordinate the work between marketing, admissions, faculty and other departments/divisions.
• Spearhead all marketing efforts including but not limited to branding, creatives, communication, digital and offline marketing with a clear aim to promote the Early Learners’ Montessori School brand in the Ontario market and to showcase school’s narrative, community impact, core values and promises, and inspiring success stories.
• Assist the group in realising allied revenue streams including not limited to Franchising opportunities or Co-branding opportunities and lead the Group with such efforts end-to-end including go to market strategy, pitch decks, value proposition, and actual pitches to B2B clients for successful onboarding of those new revenue streams and growth.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
• A degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 4+ years of Marketing management related experience in a Senior role is required.
• Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
• Good presentation and facilitation skills.


Language Requirement: English language proficiency (written, spoken, listening, and reading) is a requirement.
