Joyti Care Home Ltd. located at 2135 5th Ave North, Regina, SK, S4R0R9 is looking for three (3) Resident Care Aide to work at our care home. Pay will be $23.00 - 25.00 per hour, depending on the experience. Candidates to have a post secondary diploma/certificate in health care such as Certificate in Health Care Aide / Nursing Aide. Candidates with experience as a Care Aide will be preferred. These are permanent full time positions. We will also consider candidates who wish to work part-time for these positions. Some of the duties will be:
• Answer call signals from residents
• supply and empty bed pans to the residents
• Bathe, dress and groom patients
• Serve meal trays, feed or assist in feeding of residents
• Assist residents weigh, lift, turn, and position residents
• Supervise residents' exercise routines, set up and provide leisure activities for residents, accompany residents on outside recreational activities
• Perform other duties related to residents care and comfort
• Take residents' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
• Report/record residents' fluid intake and output
• Observe and monitor residents' status and document patient care on charts
• Administer first aid in emergency situations
• Collect specimens such as urine, faeces or sputum and forward to the health labs as per supervisor's directions
• Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas and perform other procedures as directed by the supervisor
• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
• Prepare residents for their scheduled appointments
