102058337 Saskatchewan Ltd. O/A Thunder Transport Solutions is currently looking for two (2) Dispatchers. Applicants should have a post-secondary certificate/diploma. Candidates to have minimum one-year work experience as a Dispatcher. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. These are full time positions. We will also consider applicants who are willing to work part time. The salary will be $28.75 per hour. Following are some of the duties:
• Book truck loads by contacting customers and using online software
• Keep updated information for available trucks/trailers and Truck Drivers before book the loads
• Communicate and transmit the load and route information to the Truck Drivers
• Ensure to provide documents and information required to deliver goods to the Truck Drivers before they start their trip to deliver goods.
• Advise the Truck Drivers of route and traffic problems such as construction, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, weight and size restrictions and other information
• Operate phone and emails to communicate with shippers, receivers and Truck Drivers
• Maintain Truck Drivers' work records using computerized or manual methods and ensure time sheets and payroll summaries are completed accurately
• Maintain computer and manual records of mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses, and generate reports
