IBY Restaurant Needs a Restaurant Manager
We are a Somali Cuisine restaurant. The Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations in the restaurant and must be able to lead and work as a team to make sure the premises runs smoothly. The goal is to make our customers satisfied.

• Location: 2011 Lawrence Ave W, Unit 7, Toronto, ON
• Salary: 27.50
• 2 weeks per year
• Full time employment
• HOURS of work - 7 days a week from 9 to 11 pm
• Flex hours, overtime & weekend work available
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible
• Vacancies: 1
The Manager is expected to be able to communicate in English both written and verbally. Knowledge of other language is added advantage especially Somali or Swahili.
This position requires an Undergraduate degree and good computer skills, eg. Microsoft excel and Microsoft word.
Experience: 1 year customer service.
The work setting is a busy urban restaurant that is fast paced and requires:

Managers Responsibilities:
• Assign Chefs, Servers and cleaning workers to perform their duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff and code of conducts.
• Order merchandise
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• You will need to supervise about 9 people including the Cashiers, Chefs, Servers and House Keeping staff.
• MUST arrange his/her own transportation.
