Todai Japanese restaurant ltd., dba Sushi Kumo located in North Vancouver, BC is looking for permanent and full time cooks.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare various types of Japanese foods including tempura, soup, grills and other Japanese dishes
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, grills, and roasters
- Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Train and supervise kitchen helpers and less experienced cooks
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 3 or more years of commercial cooking experience is required.
- Sushi Preparation Skill is required
Term of employment: Full-time (40 hours per week), Permanent
Wage: $17.65 - $18.50 per hour
Vacation: 4% of salary as vacation pay
