Key Duties and Responsibilities:
? Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
? Supervise and coordinate work activities and schedules of kitchen staff engaged in food preparation
? Oversee the kitchen operations
? Check the quality of raw and cooked products
? Check the quantity and quality of received products
? Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment
? Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, which include sauces, soups, salads, vegetables, meats, poultry and/or fishes
? Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance
? Determine food portions and develop menus
? Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
? Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients, supplies and equipment
? Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
? Place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary food ingredients, supplies, etc.
? Inspect kitchen and food service areas
? Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
? Secondary school graduation certificate required
? Over 2 years of previous experience in commercial cooking industry required
Work Site Environment

Wage
? Salary: $17.00 per hour for 30-40 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
Flexible Working Hours
? Day, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Weekends

? Vacation pay:4 % remuneration of total gross salary
